Basic Principles & Purposes

The basic principles and purposes of the group are as follows:

R To promote peaceful coexistence among people of all religions in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, fostering mutual respect for each other’s religious beliefs and perceptions.

R To prevent the occurrence of religious conflicts and natural disasters within the country, and to provide relief and rehabilitation to those affected by religious and social conflicts.

R To preserve the identity of the nation in nation-building activities and to cooperate with all religions in a friendly and harmonious manner.

R If there are other grievances related to religion, to coordinate with relevant local organizations to ensure compliance with the law.
