Central Executive Committee Meetings and Responsibilities

The Central Executive Committee meetings and the committee’s responsibilities are as follows:

R A regular meeting of the Central Executive Committee will be held at least once a year. A quorum is achieved if 1/3 of the members attend.

R An emergency meeting of the executive team can be held if the patron team, chairman team, secretarial team, and management team deem it necessary, or if the majority of supporting work teams and executive members submit a proposal. A quorum is achieved if (1/3) of the invited members attend the meeting.

R As the executive team must be in constant communication with the regional/state, and district executive teams, a “work coordination meeting involving central and team levels” must be held at least once a year. A quorum is achieved if (1/2) of the invited members attend the meeting.

R The Executive Committee shall be responsible for the annual regular “general meeting” once every two years, the “general meeting to elect a new executive team” and the “emergency general meeting” under the guidance of the patron group. A quorum is achieved if (1/2) of the invited members attend the meeting.

R If there is an insufficient quorum in the aforementioned meetings, the chairman shall adjourn the meeting accordingly. If a quorum is not reached in the second meeting, a third meeting shall be scheduled for a suitable date. In this third meeting, if there is still an insufficient quorum, the chairman may proceed with the meeting with the available number of participants.

R The formation of supporting work teams and the regular operation of processes must be supervised.

R The chairman is the chief of the meeting.

R Meetings should be conducted in accordance with the meeting plan, with meeting minutes regularly documented and the implementation status of meeting decisions systematically carried out and reported.
